Unique Data Solutions, La Crosse, WI announced today that MacDonald and Owen Lumber Company has purchased and successfully implemented LUMBERGEAR™ in its corporate headquarters and warehouse production facilities.

MacDonald and Owen Lumber Company will use LUMBERGEAR to manage its sales and order fulfillment , procurement operations, production management, inventory management, bar-coding, freight transportation and logistics, employee management, and accounting integration with Peachtree Accounting software package. The bar-code module and warehouse management will help Mac Donald and Owen increase user accuracy, efficiency, and speed in its operations.

Real-time inventory management is achieved in the production and warehouse facilities of Mac Donald and Owen by the integration of the barcode module, inventory management module, and warehouse management. This allows for greater visibility and effectiveness within the organization.
